The Best of Tennessee Releases Second Voter Mobilization Ad

“Protect What You Love” Reminds Tennessee Voters: The Primary Decides What Matters

NASHVILLE, TN (June 29, 2026)

The Best of Tennessee, Inc. today released its second video ad in a statewide voter mobilization campaign urging Tennesseans to participate in the August 6th primary election. “Protect What You Love” is running now across digital platforms.

The ad was created by Tennessee-based Creative Director Rodney Eldridge and Director Kali Bailey, who approached the project as a storytelling challenge rather than a political one. “I wanted these ads to feel cinematic rather than like traditional political advertising,” Eldridge said. “I was the audience. I didn’t vote in the last primary because I wasn’t engaged. I wanted to build something people would actually want to watch — content that came from a storytelling lens, not a political one — and want to take action and vote after seeing it.”

Most Tennessee races are decided in the primary, yet only 14% of voters showed up to the last one. According to The Best of Tennessee’s Founder and CEO Chloe Akers, “When only a small, unrepresentative group of voters chooses the people who represent us, everyone lives with the consequences, and those consequences are real. Tennesseans deserve lawmakers who reflect the priorities of the broader public. That begins with more people participating in the elections that shape our state’s future.”

The Best of Tennessee’s campaign is designed to reach voters across the state with a clear, nonpartisan case for why their primary vote is the one that matters most.

“Protect What You Love” is the second in a series of ads rolling out, with each building on the last as key dates approach: early voting begins Friday, July 17th and primary election day is Thursday, August 6th, 2026.
